Pirk Animasjon is a small animation studio based in Holmsbu outside Oslo. We produce and teach 2D animation and specialise in animation for children and educational purposes. With over a thousand students/ participants in our courses and workshops every year, we are also one of Norway´s largest suppliers of animation workshops.

Hege Bø, animator and director, educated from Høgskolen i Volda, works 2D in Animate Pro, 15 years of experience teaching and producing animation, various exhibitions painting and drawing, illustrated childrens and educational books.

Mette Indrehus, producer and writer, educated in folklore, film and television from University of Oslo, Bergen and Middlesex, London. Has worked as project leader, writer, journalist, producer and filmteacher.

Other partners and people we work with:

Ragnar Haug, AD from Westerdals School of Communication and musician. Works on graphic design, animation, sound and music. Shares our studiospace and can build pretty much anything in cardboard.

Annette Saugestad Helland, animator and illustrator, educated from Kunsthøgskolen in Bergen and Konstfack in Stockholm. She is currently working on a series for children; Morningbird and Murmelton. Her shortfilm Superdad and Pelé, has toured festivals all over the world and she has also written and illustrated four childrens books. Annette animates for us on various projects from time to time.

Margrethe Danielsen, animator and illustrator, educated from Høgskolen i Volda, works with us on courses and workshops througout the year.
